If you’re really impressed by the design of a website, and you suspect it is using WordPress and you’d like to know what WordPress theme the website is using, it’s quite easy to determine the theme.

Open the website in your web browser (Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Opera).

Right-click on an empty space on the website, and choose “View page source”.

You will now see some code. Press CTRL + F (Windows) / CMD + F (Mac) to search the code, and search for “themes” (without the quote).

You will see something like:

<link rel='stylesheet' id='parent-theme-css' href='https://digital.insightdesign.com.au/wordpress/wp-content/themes/Divi/style.css?ver=5.3' type='text/css' media='all' />

In the code above, the word Divi is the name of the theme.

If you don’t find the word “themes” in the code, then the site is either not using WordPress, or using a caching plugin which alters the way the code is presented.
